The latest version is the pretty old, but stable Version 2.1. Rosegarden is currently being rewritten to be extensible and to overcome limitations in the previous design. Includes/will include MIDI sequencing, a score editor, a drum editor, an event editor, harddrive recording, and a bunch of other features. kooBase also has an API, to make it easier to write extensions to the program.
