Ideologically it follows the Cannonite/International Committee tradition. Socialism (US) -- This Trotskyist group is based in Detroit and follows the Morenoist tradition. The group is affiliated with International Workers Unity (UIT). Socialist Action (Canada) -- This organization is one of the two Canadian groups in solidarity with the United Secretariat of the Fourth International (USFI). Socialist Action is active in the (social democratic) New Democratic Party of Canada. SA was expelled from the Canadian USFI section, Socialist Challenge in the early 90s reflecting debates in the USFI as a whole. The group is similar in outlook to Socialist Action (U.S.).
